Thread: Russian translation of "My Big Fat Soviet Adventure" (see Blogs)

Inego, you have done me a great honor in translating my blog. It is so strange and wonderful seeing my words translated into Russian, finally seeing my thoughts fully expressed in your language! If only I could express myself this fluently when I speak Russian!!!

This discussion is fascinating and I enjoy seeing so many people coming together to help with my little story. I am honored )))

By the way, the paragraph where I used the word "but" twice in a row - is actually a mistake on my part. I should have caught that redundancy and edited it! If you see redundancies like this and they feel wrong, please let me know privately and I can edit them in the future. That will hopefully make translation easier. The final book is going to be edited a great deal more, as there is a lot about my past in the WCG which needs to be included. But for the purposes of the blog I did not want to go into all that detail about the church.

Thank you, but that's embarrassing I'm just a guy who's learning English and who finds your blog very interesting! It's very easy and entertaining to translate a text while being able to consult with the author and the helpful community.
