I understand all of the standard sentences and simple chit-chat, but some of the major points I couldn't follow.
The interviewer seems to have a reasonably open mind though, just ask and see what response she gets, rather than try to manipulate the conversation. She's letting him say what he has to say without manipulating. That's the best way to conduct an interview I think.
I guess Russian intervention is completely out of the question now; Putin revoked some approval from the duma to intervene.
The question is how people in Donbass, Mariupol and Odessa can live happily as Ukrainian citizens after all this. I wouldn't, if I was them.
How can a whole region forgive something like that, and continue to live as citizens of a country that bombed you, burnt people and shot at crowds?
