Decode Sambo? This is sounding very suspicious to me. I think I'm in over my head here.

But if you mean what does it stand for, isn't it "Cамозащита без оружия" Self-defence without weapon?

Система and the like sound very intriguing to me. Although I have actually seen Sambo, and it looks like a cross of Ju-jitsu with Judo throws(as well as a few "tricks").

    ah, very close.
By the way, where is "Bydgoszcz?" Is that polish/western slavic language? Isn't "szcz" supposed to mean Щ?

You're right, Polish is a western slavic language.
I find it extremely surprising that many Russians pronounced the ending of "Bydgoszcz" as ш and not щ as I was always taught. Because Szcz is the Polish counterpart of Russian щ.
The city of Bydgoszcz is situated in central Poland.

    Jak sie masz? Errmmrmrmmmmm.....хорошо!

I think I had a couple Polish books a while back. But I never looked at thim(too busy with Russian) and I sold them to the букинист(much more fun word than our equivalent).

"W porządku" (в пopядкe) - that would be my answer, but "dobrze" (xopoшo) is perfectly ok.
