I've got a question about this sign:

What is its name in Russian?
I heard "coбaчкa" and "пeлмeнь". Is it true? Maybe some other possibilities?

I've never heard of пельмень!!

пельмень - I came across it in my newly-bought "Russian slang dictionary", so it may be a word not so widely-used.

Kcтaти, it's most interesting how the sign @ is called in some languages. In Polish, for example, it is "monkey" (malpa)

Several years ago the words "ухо", "обезьяна" were also used. May be "пельмень". But "собака" forced them out all.

Officially it is "амперсанд" anyway...

"амперсанд" is &.
@ is called "коммерческое эт", though if you use that in common talk you'll probably get "huh?" reaction. So just use "собака" or "собачка" unless you're writing some manual or official document.
