    Re: What's your native language?

    Hi everybody!
My native language is Italian and actually I'm studying English, French and Russian.
Unfortunately, I'm not already able to make a speech in Russian without making an incredible amount of mistakes.
I study a lot but it's still not enough because I can't memorize all the declinations and the odd rules about verbs and stuff like that.
    See y!

No, that's rhetorical question. I meant "We get tired of waiting for you".

Надеюсь мой английский хоть немного передает смысл того, что я хочу сказать, а хочу я сказать... Гм... Эту фразу и на русском сложно объяснить. В общем ситуация: кто-то опоздал, скажем, в кино и ожидавший его там, с возмущением, спрашивает "Почему так долго? (тудыть-растудыть)", но не ожидает при этом ответа.

Очень просто сказать на русском. Это звучит так: "Да сколько ж можно тебя ждать?!"

Well, Why did I have wait for so long? It's nothing so personal, so..
Because one year ago I've started a Russian course , I've discovered this amazing forum but I had some problem with the registration and I gave up. I tried again some days ago while I was searching something @ masterrussian website and it worked ,so..now here I am

I hope that I will be able to reply to your "topics" in Russian as soon as possible..

And I hope to use in the best way as I can this place because in my university Russian teaching is shitty and I need to find a solution on my own.. -.-

P.s= delog ..now you don't have to wait ..no more.. -,- ... I can image how your life has been terrible without my terrible topics written in an horrible pseudo-Russian...
    Cheers..have a nice Sunday!

    Привет, эрвин! (:
В русском названия национальностей и образованные от них прилагательные пишутся со строчной.
In Russian a capital letter is not used:
    - for the pronouns, except "Вы" ("вы" also exists and there is a difference in using "вы" and "Вы"):
я, ты, он, она, оно, мы, они, вы, Вы
    - for days of the week and months:
    понедельник, вторник, август, март
    - for people's titles:
фильм «Мистер и миссис Смит», профессор Хиггинс, доктор Хаус
    - for nationalities, citizenship, languages etc (and for words that are derived from them):
немец, фламандка, древнегреческий, английский язык, славянская письменность, российское гражданство, латинский шрифт
In titles a capital letter is used only in the first word:
    пьеса Чехова «Вишнёвый сад»

Извини, на твоем родном языке объяснить не могу. Не знаю я нидерладского.

    никая проблема. Никто – безупречное.
Я понимаю англи́йское объяснение, и даже брольая часть русского текста. Я расшифроваю часть что я не понимал с англи́йским объяснением и моим словарем. Всё так хорошо.

The "с англи́йским объяснением и моим словарем" part is difficult to correct!
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

Почему7 Somehouw, I doubt it's because it contains no errors. Is it simply unitelligible gibberish? Perhaps I should've just used the instrumentalis, and dropped the с.

    Re: What's your native language?

эрвин, while native speakers don't put their thoughts in this way. Просто это не по-русски. Так не говорят.
I think something like "при помощи английского текста и словаря" would be better. English pronoun "my" is used more often than Russian "мой" (моя, моё, мои). Sometimes in English sentence it sounds OK, while it Russian translation this information is superfluous. If you hadn't written the word "мой", we would have thought that it is the dictionary you can use (have an opportunity to use). And it does not matter, if it is your dictionary, or your friend's dictionary, or your mother's dictionary, or one of the library dictionaries. (: Sometimes the thing you are speaking about is yours by default, so to say. Nobody would think that it is not yours.
    One example:
You know one time I put the bee on him for a buck. I give him a hell of a story. Right in the middle... I says, ‘Doc, that's a... lie.’ And he put his hand in his pocket and brought out a buck. (J. Steinbeck, ‘Cannery Row’, ch. 13) — Однажды, знаете ли, я выпрашивал у доктора доллар. Я придумал черт знает какую историю. Но в середине рассказа... я сказал: "Док, я... все наврал". Доктор опустил_руку в_карман и вынул доллар.
For Russian speakers it goes without saying that it was his hand and his pocket. ) И так понятно, что он опустил свою руку в свой (а не чужой) карман.
As you can see, "my" (his, her, ...) can be translated not only as "мой" (его, её, ...), but also as "свой" (sorry, I don't know the rule which helps to choose the right translation).

    расшифроваю
I am not sure I understand it correctly. What did you mean? "I am doing", "I will do", "I have done"? (I don't know which English verb to choose, so I have just written examples with the verb "to do".)
Please, write in English what you mean and we'll try to translate it. )
