The problem I had, is that if you set windows to Cyrillic, then accented latin vowels turn Cyrillic. My french and Spnanish music end up with Cyrillic characters in the filenames!

You need to set it in ICQ too, if not you will get the problem Mordan has. I did.

um...why not ask her to type in latin letters?

Exactly, every single one of them and also modified letters will turn Cyrillic either in documents, programs, and so on. It's too much to handle for Windows.
I use simultaneously two computers, one set to Cyrillic and one set to non-Cyrillic.

If you're talking about the script setting in the font options, it switches automatically when you choose the language you want to use.

Well, when I installed ICQ, I could not type cyrillic even though I have been typing cyrillic on my computer for over 2 years. I had to go to the ICQ settings and set my multilingual support to Russian.
