2) There's been misunderstanding. I'm sorry about it. So it should be: Я играю в Neverwinter с 2002 года.
3)That's the one I'd been thinking over for long time. I just couldn't find the complete analogy. But now I suggest to replace "то отнесетесь ко мне с некоторым нисхождением" with "то отнесетесь ко мне с пониманием". That's because the first example can be understood by some people in negative meaning like you're showing them that you're smaller, less respectable etc. than they are. I'm utmost sorry for that.
Yeah, относиться с пониманием means to put yourself in someone else's shoes in order to understand their feelings, thoughts etc and think twice before saying, doing etc something bad to them
4) Я в основном понимаю - doesn't mean just basically, it means to understand all of it almost everytime. If I made the literal translation for "I know the basics of Russian language" it would be "Я понимаю основы русского языка". But and this is a big but основы is more likely to be understood like elementaries so people would have the idea that your Russian is really poor and you know only simpliest things about it and treat you relatively. So I decided to translate it as "Я в основном понимаю русский язык". Anyway it's up to you to decide what translation to use
