As far as English goes:
Any phrasing involving "suffering from" something, is less popular than others. The word heartbreak only gets used rarely, though is seems like it's popular word. I can only really imagine the word as the subject of a sentence. Like: "Son, heartbreak is bla-bla-bla....". Though "suffering from" is correct in every way grammatically, it's a phrasing at the bottom of the list in most situations. "She broke is heart" is best. Also, "His heart is broken" could be used.
to break one’s heart — разби́ть се́рдце
She broke his heart. — Она́ разби́ла ему́ се́рдце.
His heart is broken. — У него́ разби́то се́рдце.
