    Translation of two words

Hello everybody. I cannot find a suitable translation of these words:

    вьюжной ночью

I know ночью can be translated as night
    But what it means вьюжной?

    Thank you in advance.

"Вьюжный" is an adjective derived from "вьюга" (snowstorm).
Налево пойдёшь - коня потеряешь, направо пойдёшь - сам голову сложишь.

One other interesting thing about the noun вьюга -- it derives from the verb вить ("to twist"), which conjugates just like пить ("to drink"):

    я вью
    ты вьёшь
    ...
    они вьют

So, in other words, вьюга kind of suggests "a twisting, swirling blizzard." (Another word for "snowstorm" is метель, which comes from the verb мести, "to sweep, as with a broom".)

Кроме того, snowstorm, оказывается, ещё и буря А.С. Пушкин. Зимний вечер
