I met ain't as a shortening for is not, have not, are not in various texts, various speeches, and even in a dictionary (the article is attached). So...

I don't think anyone is denying that "ain't" exists. The controversy is over whether one should use words that are not "real" words. Of course all words were just made up at some point so is one any more real than another?

P.S. I've always wondered why "amn't" isn't used for "am not".

*Sigh* "Ain't" is understandable. Nobody denies that. What the seventy thousand users above (who you seem to want to argue with) are telling you is it's NOT acceptable, normal english. It is, at best slang. English teachers around the globe would slap you with their rulers for using it. That was the only point! And, a word of advice for the future: saying "well, Eminem said it." is NEVER a good excuse. That's like saying all Russians must own performing bears, since you saw it in a movie!

Проблема в том, что ты всё понимаешь в буквальном смысле. Я убедился в этом сейчас. Я использовал "cuz" потому, что Бармалей употребил "ain't" постом выше, а Vadim84 конкретно объяснил почему он так сделал...
