Thread: Rus-English translation

Hello everyone, I was hoping to find some assistance in translating a couple sentences from english to russian for a class presentation, with phonetic spelling as well. It is from an old poem but, any help is greatly appreciated!

In my greatest interest to appear better,
this beautiful eye which has touched my heart
of which the beautiful node(or the word "knot") of a more savage scythian,
would make the heart more courteous and gracious.

Sorry, friend, but the English of that quote is almost impossible to understand. I doubt anyone can put together a sensible translation for you.

I guess, you meant, that beautiful eye that moved my heart.
Was it only one eye?

Yeah, its talking about one eye it seems. I know since its an old poem that makes it tough, but any similar translation that anyone could come up with would be great. Thanks for the replies either way...

Probably from that old Greek guy who wrote about Cyclops.

Well, if my guess was right, I'd say "Этот прекрасный глаз, который тронул моё сердце".
Though, to be honest, it sounds strange without context.

That needs, at least, your interpretation.

Чтобы мой величайший интерес стал лучше,
этот красивый глаз который тронул моё сердце
красивый нарост которого более дикого скифа,
сделал бы сердце более вежливым и добрым.
It's written by a savage scythian after scythian bath.
