    Теперь я думаю, что это :

    обработанный (подготовленный) мех выдры

    имеется виду хим. обработка меха перед продажей
    Хм, это уже более вероятно, но, возможно, все равно нелепо звучит. Хотя это, конечно, надо у инглиш-нэйтивов спрашивать.

    Блин, еще почитал словари и уже совсем не уверен. Там не очень определенно написано. Может, и допустимо так говорить. Может, и сама выдра имеется в виду, а может, и мех ее.

    Ладно, черт с ней, надоело уже.

    What is this discussion about? I mean this "otther" thing? My cyrilic is bad, I learned when I was 9 year old (22 year ago) in ex Yugoslavia, and do not remember much..

    We don't know what exactly "cultivated otter" means. Can you explain?

    Cultivated means grown and harvested on a farm.
    Thus, "cultivated otters" are otters that are grown and harvested on a farm. All you need are some good otter seeds

    Maybe they are cultivated cultivated otters? Refined otters grown on a farm from otter seeds and a darn good educational system.
