I think this is an excellent speech! There is no need for corrections.
Please, correct my mistakes, except for the cases I misspell something on purpose!

Yeah Challenger, I definately would NOT want to cause a scandal lol. So I will go with your suggestion to use чтобы.

You never asnwered the question though! Are you proposing to be Mitya's father, or are you proposing Elena to be Mitya's father?
Hei, rett norsken min og du er død.
I am a notourriouse misspeller. Be easy on me.

lol Basil, his question wasn't too idiotic :P I'm will be simply proposing to Elena as well as asking her to be the father of Mitya.

You are right Basil, I presented this speech to other Russian speakers, and they say it is perfect. Only one thing... I began to realize it's not 4 years, it's really 3.5 lol

So how can I change "я знаю Елену четыре год" to say: about 4 years or nearly 4 years?

Should I use почти? (please include stress)

You are asking her to be a father? How about a mother? That would be the natural thing to be... unless I am missing something...

    Да
Я знаю Елену почти четыре года
Я знаю Елену вот уже почти четыре года
Скоро будет четыре года, как я знаю Елену

If you prefer to be precise on the matter you may say:
Я знаю Елену (вот уже) три с половиной года.

    вот уже=already
Send me a PM if you need me.

I guess says he's going to ask a woman to be a father once, it's a typo. He says it twice...
