    Check russian translation , please

    Hello Everyone !
i wanted to translate something from english to russian and one of my friends helped me with it but i don't know if it means exactly what i wanted to say
what i wanted to say is " don't believe reports that you receive because they can be false or not right
and this is how my russian friend translated
"не вертье сообщениям которые получаете потому , что могут оказаться ложью "

"Не верьте сообщениям, которые получаете, потому что они могут оказаться ложью"

The phrase is criptic though. Which reports do you mean? In the press? Then it should be "Не верьте СМИ, они часто врут."
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

Большое спасибо . Думаю , что это самый хороший перевод, который я получил

That would still be a bit awkward but grammaticaly correct
I do not claim that my opinion is absolutely true.
If you've spotted any mistake in my English, please, correct it. I want to be aware of any mistakes to efficiently eliminate them before they become a habit.

Is there any difference between "false" and "not right"?
Like in the first case they are falcified, in the second - have mistakes?
