I need to translate two terms from "English composition" subject:

freewriting - I understand what it is, but how it is better to say in Russian?
and
transition - the word or phrase used to switch from one point of composition to another.

freewriting - сочинение на свободную/вольную тему?

transition - переход?

Мои догадки -

интенсивная наброска

переходные слова, промежуточные слова. Вообще - вводные выражения (parenthetical expressions).

Ostrov, if you want a correct translation, you should give us the whole text (or part of it), because it's really hard to translate these (or any other) words out of the context.
