I agree. After all, Spanish is one of the most spread languages in the world...

Most of the languages-besides-Russian forums are inactive or rarely used, plus there's already many good forums on the net for Spanish But I'm sure noone would mind if you made a couple posts in Spanish(along with English or Russian). I do it in German all the time. I'd like to learn Spanish later, but do tell me, do you have something similar to le subjonctif in Spanish?

Aw, yeah. Spanish has a big ol' subjunctive. For a long time it was my mortal enemy, but el subjunctivo and I are buddies now.

El subjuntivo en spanish es efectivamente un dolor de cabeza incluso para mi.Subjuntive in spanish is indeed a headache even to myself
(I have a keyboard in english-russian and I used to click Alt +164 or 165 to ene spanish, but it doesn't work in the forum only when I use Microsoft word, I dont know why)
for this reason I am just writting spanish instead of espa-ol

El subjuntivo es el enemigo de todos los libres personas del mundo. El subjuntivo es el Osama bin Laden de formas gramaticas.

Si yo pudiera vivir sin el subjuntivo, yo [i]vivir

Wow, I've never opened a Spanish book in my life (but I learnt Portuguese for about 5 months) and I can understand 70% of what you're writing (even that el subjunctivo bit ) .. sometimes I wish I was back in Romance world.. so much easier...

ahem sorry sometimes I wish I were...

Aha, I can also understand what is being said! You know, I have a Spanish grammar book in the bookshelf. Let us pull it out sometime later to join in the fun.

Nosotros tenemos UNIVISION y muchos otras estaciones espanolas. Aunque yo puedo comprender el espanol escribi yo no puedo comprender cuando ellos hablan muy pronto.

You should use pronto in other situation.
    will you come back soon?
    (tu) volveras pronto?

b]ni[/b] comprender cuando ellos hablan muy deprisa o rapido

Well, that was reassuringly simple. Which is one of the reasons I shall never learn Spanish: I can already read it anyway...

That is true. It is easier that portugues can speak spanish than the other way round. We can understand each other but speak portugues is more difficult than spanish. they have unknown sounds for us.

    It is amazing
When I "futbol" player from Portugal (no many) but from Brazil come to Spain. he is interviewed in the airport and he can speak some words with a strong accent but he can understand and is able to communicate.

My dear Jas-Jas, you don't have to learn very much Russian to read it, so why bother learning more to be able to understand it, write it, and speak it correctly?
