    Привет!

    Привет/Здравствуйте
    Меня зовут Лиса.
    Как дела?
    Я хорош.
    Что?
    Я не понимаю.
    Пока/До свидания

Ok that is the extent of my memorized Russian (other than a few other phrases which do not belong in this dialogue). Teach me something else that I could say about myself, Пожалуйста. Such as, "I live in Canada. I go to University". And such other things you can think of.

    Большое спасибо!

    я живу в канаде
    i go to university
    я учусь в университете

    what else do you need?
and it shouldn't be "Я хорош" but "я хорошо" or "я чувствую себя хорошо". i think. i'm getting paranoid about my russian when there's so many native russians on this forum!

Don't be! We all went trough the same with our English and some are still having difficulties.

Не знаю про Канаду, но ты мне напомнил, как израильские командо спросили "Где эта чёртова Уганда?" (Операция "Энтэбе"), эта была не шутка, хоть и смешно.

    What does that mean?

I think everyone forgot about my original question

Come on... tell me things that people say on a daily basis. "I am brushing my teeth." "I am eating." ... etc.
    [Russian letters and English transliteration]

I'm quite sure most people don't say those things on a daily basis, unless they are informing others...

Download 'Before you know it- Russian' and listen to the 'Sample Phrases for Polite Conversation' section.

Infact since I've been meaning to get it again I'll post the link:

Edit- Dimitri: I thought 'Я ем' was more like 'Ya Yem', the Ya part at least. 'Ja' is too much like German 'Ja' for 'Yes'.
Please correct any Russian language mistakes I make.

That's the problem with transliterations: it depends on the accent you're transliterating it into. All my Sveedish friends write things like "tavarishj", which sounds, obviously, completely wrong in an English accent.

They are swedes, what do you expect? Get some Norwegian friends, they smell better.

    я иду - Ya idu - I am walking
    я - девушка - Ya devushka - I am a girl
Hei, rett norsken min og du er død.
I am a notourriouse misspeller. Be easy on me.
Пожалуйста! Исправляйте мои глупые ошибки (но оставьте умные)!
