    Problems with this adjectives

Hi everybody! I'm confused with the adjectives of the following sentence.
I taken it from the translation of "little prince".
Well, the thing is I don't understand the adjectives endings (на) I read many tutorial on adjectives, and in none of them mentions this ending (на)
    Any ideas?
Below is the sentence and it's english translation

Понемногу я понял также, как печальна и однообразна была твоя жизнь
Bit by bit I came to understand your sad little life

This is a short form adjectives. As well as the long forms, there are also short forms:

    Masc. -ый / -zero
    Fem. -ая / -а
    Neut. -ое / -о
    Plural. -ые / - ы

Vladimir is ill - Владимир болен
Vladimir is an ill boy - Владимир - больной мальчик

With the masculine form, a fill vowel is often required to separate consonant clusters.

    Мне нужна она
Here нужна is a short form adjective.

Neuter short form adjectives funciton as adverbs:
хорошо = well (from хороший = good)
    Ingenting kan stoppa mig
In Post-Soviet Russia internet porn downloads YOU!

    I would translate this to:

Little by little I came to understand how sad and mundane your life was.

Yes, you're right, but I took that translation from the "official" translation of the book.
