    passive voice (заражать)

    Привет товарищи!

I don't want, that you infected me with your pessimism
I don't want you to infect me with your pessimism.

Во первых я хотел бы спросить Вас правильно ли я написал эти выражения на английском?

    Как переводятся на русский?

Я не хочу, чтоб ты заразил меня твоим пессимизмом!
Чем больше слов, тем меньше они стоят.

Да, отлично! Ну можно "твоим пессимизмом" заменить на "своим пессимизмом" .
    Или
Я не хочу заразиться от тебя пессимизмом.

If you need passive voice, then:
"Я не хочу заразиться твоим пессимизмом" or "Я не хочу заразиться от тебя пессимизмом".
Also you could use participles, somthing like that: "Я не хочу быть заражённым твоим пессимизмом".

Я не хочу, чтоб ты заразил меня твоим пессимизмом!
It's absolutely correct, however there is no passive voice here. The word "ты" is subject and "ты" acts (infect) on "меня". It's active voice for "ты".

"I don't want that you infected me with your pessimism" simply doesn't work in English. (Well, possibly in some unusual regional dialects, but not in any form of "standard modern English.") It sounds too much like a direct translation of a Russian чтобы clause, or something.

    Instead, use either of these:
"I don't want you to infect me with your pessimism."
"I don't want to be infected by ["with" is also okay in this context] your pessimism."

Note: In the active-verb construction, you can't use "by" -- only "with." But either preposition is okay in the passive construction.

Don't think "should" goes along well with "wish".

    It must be something like:

    I wish I wouldn't be... (future)
    I wish I wasn't (present)
    I wish I hadn't been (past)

I might be mistaken of course.
I do not claim that my opinion is absolutely true.
If you've spotted any mistake in my English, please, correct it. I want to be aware of any mistakes to efficiently eliminate them before they become a habit.

I agree with iCake. Wish and should are incompatible.

OK with the three suggestions above.

"I wish I weren't" would also be correct.

Agree. My grammar books must have been dusty.

(I hope 'da native speekaz' might add some insight).
