Hi, everyone!
I wonder if it is correct and sounds adequately to greet someone with the words : Good day!
istead of good afternoon, for example.
As I know "good day" greeting is not widely spread, is it?

"Good day" is not all that common where I live. It's usually only used by the posh upper classes, eccentric old men or, if said in a curt way, busy people who say it when they mean "good-bye, now get out of my office".
"Музыка, всюду музыка.
Линия перегружена.
Пространство между нами сжимается.
Все, что можно уже нарушено."
-- "Пространство между нами" by Ядерный сок
Really?
How curious Never knew that
Thanks!
I had a teacher in second grade that would say that as she walked down the hall. Other than that, the only time I have heard it is from an Australian (G'Day, mate!) and Paul Harvey (a popular current events broadcaster amongst my parent's generation) He would always end with "This is Paul Harvey.... Good Day!"
So, no, not common at all, but it definitely could have the rudeness that Ядерное лицо said when ending a conversation.
