How to best translate Шикарный in English

One of my online dic says "smart" but that does not fit with my french translation which is

"chic" which I would translate as "classy" in English

Don't translate shikarny as posh. You can't have a shikarny accent, a shikarny school, etc. Shikarny is not posh.

All depends on context... Thus, we could have

Therefore chic, opulent, and sumptuous will do.

You can't have a shikarny accent, a shikarny school, etc.
You can't have a shikarny accent but you CAN have a shikarny school.
Please correct my mistakes if you can, especially article usage.
