I had an idea last night that maybe if I narrate some of the boring things that I do everyday, just to myself, maybe that would keep me practicing speaking a bit of russian all day, so I started this morning with breakfast:-

I walk into the kitchen.
Я иду на кухню.

I stand in front of the stove.
Я стою перед плитой.

I pick up the packet of porridge.
Я подбираю пакет овсянки.

I put too much into the saucepan.
Я наливаю слишком много в кастрюлю.

I take some out and put it back in the packet.
Я вынимаю часть и кладу её обратно в пакет.

I put it on the hob.
Я кладу его на варочную панель.

I switch off the scale and close its lid.
Я выключаю весы и закрываю ее крышку.

I go to the fridge, I open the door of the fridge, I pick out the soy milk from the bottom shelf on the door.
Я иду в холодильник, я открываю дверь холодильника, я выбираю соевое молоко с нижней полки на двери.

I shut the door.
Я закрываю дверь.

I come back to the cooker.
Я возвращаюсь к плите.

I open the packet of soy milk.
Я открываю пакет соевого молока.

I pour some into the porridge in the saucepan, and put the lid back on.
Я наливаю немного в кашу в кастрюле и снова надену крышку.

I put my hand in a packet of nuts and bring out a handful of mixed nuts, and put them into the saucepan.
Я кладу руку в пакет орехов и достаю горсть смешанных орехов и положу их в кастрюлю.

I get the packet of currants and pour them into the saucepan.
Я получаю пакет смородины и выливаю их в кастрюлю.

I gave up at this point, as I thought it would take until lunchtime just to prepare breakfast...

Are these sentences correct, and grammatically okay?
