Jeez, why don't you ask her to translate, or do you not share a common language? But this certainly seems like something you should do in person rather than via email or whatever. Plural of "life" is "lives" in English.

I am sry, I thought this is a forum where people translate stuff others dont know and not where you get judged for what you wanna know.

But for your information, I wanna surprise her by doing it myself, and not have to tell her before hand.

Please, don't be offended. I suppose that Chaika means that if your try to learn to read this text aloud with the help of your girlfriend and pronounce it yourself in the front of her parents it would be more solemnly.
