I would go for:

Right. I read the original text in Russian once again now and understood that I might have translated it incorrectly.
The preposition 'v' means 'in' here but I translated it as 'iz'. It may be correct in a different situation, though.
P.S. It doesn't make much difference Both sentences are ok.
