Thread: Another fantastic Чернила song!

I'm having trouble translating the song Летний вечер by Чернила. I think that I've got most of it Ok, but there are some strings of sounds that I can't quite separate into words that make sense in the song. Help!

Also, have I done a good translation of the lyrics that I can make out? I didn't do a word-for-word translation here, it's just an attempt to get the same meaning.

Please correct my Russian grammar and spelling if necessary, and thanks in advance

You should check the russian text, because there is a bunch of errors in it, I guess. I have corrected some of them, but there are still a few dark places.

Verse 3:
ночь прошла, за ней неделя мой телефон молчит______The night passed, and a week passed after, my phone is silent
и ты на звонки не отвечаешь_______________________And you do not answer my calls
может взять да и всё бросить и тебя забыть_________ May be I should give up and forget you <another Russian colloquialism>
только сердце мне не позволит (?), да как мне даже быть?_ But my heart will not let me, how am I actually meant to be?

I found the lyrics. Here is my best guess at the translation.
I interpreted Ведь as "in fact" but there is no English equivalent.
It is a cool song.

The best Черила song is about Казахстан. If you havnt heard that then you have never really heard Чернила.
