I didn't get your point. There are several major markets where the oil is being traded. One of the main ones is New York Mercantile Exchange. That's what the article mentions. There are other markets across the world and the price of oil in all of them spiked up. So my point was that the similar things happen almost every time a noticeable terrorist act is committed. What's in that about the "Russian paranoia", "American paranoia" or something like that? You can probably call it the "OPEC paranoia" if you want, that would be fine.
