I'm sure a lot of you have heard of snopes.com by now. It's an internet site that is growing in popularity, and they basically prove or disprove "urban legends".

The news lastnight said it wasn't being taken seriously. Later they had some dickhead... ops I mean talking head telling everyone to just "go about your busines as normal or you are letting terrorists win"

Duh!. As if....... we should be lining up to ride the NY metro like guinea pigs in somebodies macabre experiment. The whole thing is weird.

Apparently, trying to avoid panic and inconvenience is more important than trying to save people from possible harm...

I saw a report concerning New York's subway bombings the other day. Since I turned on the TV in the middle of the report I couldn't understand what they were talking about. The only thing I could understand was that the report had something to do with New York's subway and possible bombings there.

I too, in Central Illinois, have to be afraid.
