    Im afraid not. There are still a few adults who only speak Welsh, I dont think they get out much though.

    There is little reasoning to most of what I do.

    Seriously, when I was very young I watched a film based on real life and really admired one of the characters, a Russian soldier, which stuck with me. Plus growing up at the end of the cold war, I wanted to find out what America was so worried about. Instead I discovered an interesting country and I love to hear the language spoken. Of the few Russians I have met they have all been lovely and unforgettable people. As Id like to take a stab at learning a language again (I was awful at school) Russian was the first choice.
    More madness than method but it works for me.

    By the way, how "y" is pronounced in Welsh? It seems like it is most popular vowel in this language, like "a' in Sanskrit...

    Y is prononounced like a very short i. Like the I in impossible.
