    DDT song lyrics

    Hello all,

    I have stumbled several songs by DDT (who are they?) which I rather like. I have no idea what they are actually singing about though (my Russian is still very basic). Is there a site where I could get the lyrics in Cyrillic (Cyrillyrics?) and perhaps even a rough translation? All I have is the Russian song titles. and for all I know they could be singing extracts from the Minsk telephone directory.

    thanks Lampada! Great site, if designed by someone with an unusual sense of colour.

    It hadn't occurred to me that DDT might be known outside Russia. I have now Wiki'ed them and found out lots more about them - and Russian music in general.

    Who's that member of DDT you are referring to? Is Shevchuk here on the forum? Sadly, I can't recall any other members of DDT right now but probably someone will help me with this....


    Maybe, the DDT we've got here is a chemical substance that is used to kill insects that harm crops???? Clarify your question, pls, kalinka!!!

    Nah, I wouldn't call our beloved DDT a chemical substance, although I think he will feel greatly appreciative of the comparison. Our DDT makes music himself, so either the Russian DDT copied his name, or he is a natural member of the band!
