Thread: Russian band recommendations

Can anyone please recommend some not-so-mainstream bands from Russia? Preferably bands leaning to 'progressive' metal, or alternative metal.
Something along the lines of Tool, let's say, or Isis, maybe Deftones etc.
(Alternative rock bands too )
I haven't had much luck browsing youtube by now...

So far, when it comes to Russian music I liked the sound of Theodor bastard, Джан Ку, some stuff from this singer Linda ...and couple more.

Not sure I’m ready to give you specific recommendations but probably you can try out the following set of steps.
1. Look at the lists of popular Russian bands from the wiki

2. Test if you like the sound of the bands on YouTube . Some may be present with one or several compositions.

3. Go to BitTorrent 鴃繩辮 RuTracker.org (ex torrents.ru) , register there, search for the band you've found appealing, and download respective torrents with full albums . Most of the bands from the wiki lists above are expected to be there.
