A vision is a consciously created fantasy, a waking dream, yet beyond a dream.

I don't get the part in bold, especially "beyond a dream" part. Does it mean vision is more than a dream (i.e. it's reality)?
Could you explain it or translate the whole sentence in Russian?

Будь настолько же правдив с самим собой, как .... э-э.. не лжив с другими (?)

Смущает конструкция "as thou be not". Это повелительно наклонение? Сослагательное?

Что-то типа следующего. Как ты обращаешься с другими, жди такого же обращения к себе.

Not false — парафраза true. Наклонение обычное...

Но мне кажется, смысл должен быть другим... Что-то вроде "Если не хочешь лгать другим, будь правдив с самим собой". Только хотелось бы услышать, верно ли это.

Может, кто-то может привести пример похожего предложения с переводом?

Мне кажется , что смысл такой:

"будь правдим с самим собой в той же степени, как ..not false to others"

I'm still unsure and confused, though. I don't 'feel' that phrase. Can anybody give me a couple of examples of the similar sentences (with '(thou) be not' structure)?

Я тоже сразу не очень хорошо понял это предложение, потому что оно очень поэтично и архаично. Тhou используется нынче преимущественно в пословицах.

Thou shalt not kill.

Это уникальный пример, который я знаю.
