    two questions

    1. As usually instead of one Russian word in English you have "fish eggs", "spaw", "caviar" and "roe" Can anybody help me to distinguish between them?

    2. I wasreading an article about Sharon Osbourne and there is a part: "The diamonds are many but tasteful; no gaudy bling-bling for this rock wife".
    What does bling-bling means?
"Сталевары, ваша сила - в плавках!"

Sorry, I meant the Russian word "икра" (рыбная).

    1)
"Caviar" is used when refering to fish eggs as food. You eat caviar.

Should "spaw" be "spawn"? "Spawn" is used when talking about fish reproduction. It is used as a verb.

I don't usually hear the word "roe" so I don't know how to use it. You are safe to say "caviar" when talking about food and "fish eggs" any other time.

    2)
"bling-bling" is slang used primarily by rap and hip-hop artists and fans. It is a noun refering to objects that are flashy (gaudy) and show their expense. Large jewlery can be considered bling-bling.

Caviar = только чёрная икра; еда.

Любая другая рыбная икра (красная, например) = fish eggs; еда.

Spawn (noun) = икра рыб и земноводных, обычно ужё отложенная; не еда (не для людей во всяком случае).

Roe = икра или яйца внутри женской особи позвоночного (не обязательно рыбы), ещё не отложенная, или молоки у мужской особи позвоночного; обычно не еда, но может её стать после извлечения и соления.

А-а. Я думал, что Caviar это любая икра (красная или чёрная) как еда. Fish eggs это икра с биологической точки зрения.
