How Would You Translate My Name in Russian?

My usual first name is Mary-Ann. I've been told it would be "Masha" in Russian.

My middle name is Sylvie. How would it be translated in Russian? It would like to know what the last name "Roche" would be in Russian.

    Thank you !

    How do you pronounce Roche?
Сюда нужно смотреть. И слушать, что я говорю.

Mary-Ann is two different names - Мария и Анна ( simly Маша и Аня)

Sylvie - Hmmm.... May be "Светлана" (Света)? I think this name can not be translated directly

В данном случае самым удачным переводом IMHO будет такой:
    Мария Сильвия Роше.

    1) Mary-Ann - такого имени в русском нет, только отдельно Мария или Анна, при переводе обычно используется имя Мария.
    2) Roche - конечно последнее "e" не произносится, но в русском принято такие фамилии переводить именно так, произнося это "е"

In this case the best IMHO translation will be:
    ...
    1) Marry-Ann - there's now such name in Russian, only Marry or Ann, and in the translation is usually used Marry.
    2) Roche - sure the last "e" is silent, but in russian translation tradition it's pronounced...

The "short" variant of Vyacheslav is Slava, or Slavik (sounds too informaly)

I actually know a russian person with the name Марианна so I guess that's what you are. Sylvie is Сильвия. =р Well, if you want the russian equivalent, then I dunno.

    Thanks - спасибо
    Сара - она и в Африке Сара!
It's a kinda humorous expression meaning that the name Sarah is everywhere Sarah no matter where
