    Typing tutor

Does anybody have a typing tutor they would suggest. Currently, I am using one called, Stamina and it is pretty good but very simple. I am just curious what others have learned on.

I'm just starting to learn Russian myself and the idea of getting a typing tutor isn't something I'd pursue.

I found this (http://www.departments.bucknell.edu/...age/popup.html) on another site that shows the positions of each character on a standard Russian keyboard. When I want to type, at the moment, I open that popup up and organise my windows so that I can see both I'm typing and the keyboard.

Yep, Stamina is simple. Why would one want complexity from a typing tutor?

    Thank you Al

I don't know if it's because I use windows 98, but the part of the program is writen in characters other then cyrillic. I can use the program. But the menu at the top, or any other menu that pops up, is writen in these other characters. Maybe it's just a seting that needs to be set. Any suggestions?

I can use the program to a certain extent, but it's just guess work to find the options on the menu...

Thanks though, I was just using the exercise that it gave me when I clicked on the top left button, and I am getting very good practice with that... the letters that I have to type are in cyrillic alphabet, so as far as that goes, there is no problem. Like I said, it's just to choose my options that is readable.

    Hello,

There are no such problems in Solo on the Keyboard Соло на клавиатуре. All characters are displayed correctly. And the software is very exciting.

    Thanks George,

I downloaded the program, it looks like a good program, but it's all writen in Russian... this is only my first week learning Russian, so I'm a little lost with the text, and there is alot of text... but I have my dictionary close be, and use it alot. That in itself, is a good way to learn, but I have no idea what most of that text is about, there is too much. I'm at lesson 6. I'm sure it must more advanced than typing the individual letters...

so thanks again... I will enjoy this.
