    Twenty-one days

I had an argument in my Russian conversation class over how to say 'twenty-one days.' I suggested the correct phrase was 'двадцать один день.' Was I right?

    That is correct.
The last digit is a "1" so it takes the nominative singular form.
    1, 21, 31, 41, ... 101, 1001, 100001 etc.

Eleven (11) is an exception, it is followed by genative plural.
