In fact, when I saw your post for the first moment I thought that it came from a native speaker untill I saw your name. Of course it is possible to understand it in a perverted way (with the meaning Dimitry wrote) but that's not what first comes to mind, at least to me. You probably heard the phrase: "каждый понимает в меру собственной испорченности".
