    Stressed/Unstressed

I have been learning Russian for a while and listening to Russian Music. My first question is, can there be two stressed vowels in a word? Does it matter? How do you say Narod (country)? There are two stressed vowels a and o.

Secondly, in normal Russian accent, I have observed they don't care about the yery. I am careful about pronouncing it like Y (mix the symbols both Latin and Cyrillic sound LOL). But I heard:

Oy da ni vechyer da ni vechyer
    Oy mne malym ma lospalos

They pronounce the yery similar to English say

Isn't music a bad option for learning the pronunciation? We have to change the stress of vowels to match the tune.

    What do you think?

The ы in "malym" (малым) does not at all sound like English -ay. At least for Russian ears.

And yes, music is a bad option for learning the pronunciation. In songs, they can sing a word like it has two or even three or four stresses. In a song word can even have a stress it doesn't have in speech. And the reduction of "o" can be absent in songs, too.
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

And another bad thing of using songs for studying Russian language is that there can be slang words (in modern songs) or words which are not more in everyday use (in old songs).

Ага, а также не читайте авторов 19 века, например Пушкина, Лермонтова, Гоголя, Толстого, Достоевского. И по той же логике не читайте современных писателей и поэтов. Особенно вредно читать книги, в которых не показано ударение и "the reduction of "o" can be absent".

Ну, для русского языка это ещё не так страшно. Только ударение иногда плывёт, да редукция гласных недостаточная. В китайских песнях слова непонятны даже китайцам из-за отсутствия тонов.

There some words in Russian that have both a primary and secondary stress.

    From example:

    географи́чески

In this word, the primary stress falls on the "и", while the secondary stress falls on the "е".

    Чё-то мне так не кажется.
