    Just a question.

Did anyone else try listening to russian music or russian radio. Seems to be getting easier to under stand the cd's that are part of my self study course. More I listen and listen and listen the easier it is to pick out the words I know and pronounce new words, although some words make me say, "huh?", alot still.
Yea its just me, don't worry.

The cops came to my apartment one day. They took my Redbull and Vodka, I cried.

Heh, no clue what Pravit is up too . Mine is the Living Language Russian Coursebook. 3 disk set. They have a larger course but figured I would start out simple and work my way up.

What is the point of the pic Pravit?

Although it really depends on what type of music you like, I guess. What do you listen to?

He's dead. But you can find fan sites here:

    http://www.kinoman.net/
http://www.boshetunmai.com/distort/kino/frames.html (in English, although the song translations there are really bad, IMO)

    ВИАгра.
Russian pop band. Their clips are more interesting than songs If you like this kind of music, I can recommend Blestyaschie (Блестящие) and Fabrika (Фабрика). All of them are women whose appearance are much better than voice (IMHO)
My English isn't so good, зато с русским все в порядке ))
I'll be very thankful, if you correct my mistakes.

    Of course!
Машина Времени, Nautilus Pompilius, ДДТ, Ария, Алиса, Агата Кристи. They are old and famous bands, many of them are more than 15 years old. They sing interesting songs with a deep sense. In contrast to Blestyaschie, Igorek, VIAgra и всякой другой дурацкой попсятины.

Links... I'm sorry, but I don't know. Our proxy blocks all connections to mp3 sites, that's why I can't find anything now. Perhaps, anybody else knows the links...

Listened to V.I.A. Gra and liked thier music. Also ran across Olga Orlova if that was her name. I did like ДДТ. Trying to think of what others I have found. Virus is the other one she is more like a dance type genre it seems but only have found 2 songs by her.
