help with Ее взяла ..and where is Hockeys LADA??

Still enjoying learning Russian, going at a steady pace, however,Im a little stuck on this lesson.
Its a converstion betweeen the teacher and his student....I seem to have the first part "cracked" but Im really struggling to hear and understand the students reply...

Teacher: "....возьмите ручку" ( go and take, go and get a pen)
Student; "Ее взяла ,Наташа" how does one pronounce Ее взяла..does it mean,"it belongs to Natasha?"

Also,in something completley un-related,the Russian hockey league playofs are round the corner,Iam rooting for a team called LADA Togliatti...can anyone tell me where the heck "Togliatti" is??
Is there anyone with any hockey knowledge here, who would know when the playoffs start..?

Togliatti sounds a lot like a city named Тольятти. Not sure why they would write it as if it were Italian, though.

Edit: Oh. They named the city after the Italian communist leader in '64.

Well, not knowing the names of the people in the example it could mean:
Natasha, I have taken it (assuming the teacher is Natasha and the student is female)
Or, if the comma shouldn't really be there, it could mean:
    Natasha took it (no assumptions)

    pronounce: yeyo vzyala, natasha
Hei, rett norsken min og du er død.
I am a notourriouse misspeller. Be easy on me.
Пожалуйста! Исправляйте мои глупые ошибки (но оставьте умные)!

Let me re-write the lesson,as Im still stuck and fear its because Im not explaining the conversation correctley....please excuse my "bafoonery"

Let me re-write the lesson,as Im still stuck and fear its because Im not explaining the conversation correctley....

    Teacher: "....Маша,возьмите ручку"
    Маша " "Ее взяла Наташа"
    Teacher "хорошо,возьмите карандаш"
    Маша "его взяла Саша"

So,am I correct in thinking that the teacher has asked Masha "go and get a pen"
Masha has replied "It has been allready taken by Natasha"
to which he replied, "Ok,go and take a pencil"
to which Masha replied " Sasha,he has taken it" ???

    What do you think?
I still need halp,as Im simply not hearing correctley the pronounciation of "возьмите" and "взяла"

A comma makes all the difference! You have properly translated the lesson.

Something is wrong here: Tolyatti and Stavropol are two different cities.

Саша can be both male and female name in Russian. In this example Саша is clearly a woman because "его взяла Саша", not "взял Саша"

    This is Ставрополь-на-Волге.

Tolyatti was indeed called Stavropol(Stavropol-on-Volga) before: http://www.tgl.ru/about_t/

The city of Stavropol (renamed Tol'yatti in 1964) was founded in 1737 as a fort to protect against the Crimean Tatars and Nagaians.

The Lada hockey team has been one of Russia's strongest teams for five years. In the 1994-95 season Lada won second place in the European cup championship (oops! not sure of terminology here), and in 1995-96 it was the champion in Russia.

Note that the Russian word "c" means "since". It has other meanings than "with" too.

    - Masha, take the pen.
    - Natasha [already] took it [already].
    - OK, then take the pencil.
    - Sasha took it [already].
