Read all your responses. It sounds from what you are all saying that this poem has been very difficult to translate due to the wording that the poet has used.

Thanks for trying. For those who advised me to get learning fro the start, I have taken that advise on board and got myself a phrase book to help me start. I just wanted something a bit quicker to start off with.

Again, if you plan on learning russian, a phrase book won't help. It just lists a bunch of phrases and tells you how to say them in russian. If you want to assemble your own sentances, a phrase book will be of no use. A course book would be better.

Its not gonna ryhme when you translate it, sorta defeats the purpose
