Does anyone have any information on cost of living in Crimea? I'm thinking of moving there. For instance - average cost of 2 bedroom flat in average area.

It depends on many circumstances. Next year prices may go down because of the new bridge and improved logistics. For now, take a look at the reference below. Be ready to have enough cash in your pockets. Bank cards may not function properly there at the moment.

Сколько стоит проживание в Крыму в отелях? Это зависит от курорта, дат, расположения и условий. Обычно стартовая цена для отелей — 1500 рублей за номер эконом-класса, но в высокий сезон гораздо больше предложений за 2-3 тысячи рублей в сутки. Стоимость проживания в отеле 3* — от 2500 рублей.

Стоимость отдыха в частном секторе

Бюджетнее всего жить в небольших поселках — Штормовом, Николаевке, Оленевке и т. д., там двухместный номер в гостевых номах можно найти от 300 рублей в сутки (к примеру, в Оленевке мы платили за номер всего-то 200 рублей в сутки!). На крупных курортах Крыма стоимость отдыха выше в два раза — номер можно снять от 600 рублей в сутки на двоих. Но это минимальная стоимость, такие предложения очень быстро заканчиваются. В основном же цены на частный сектор летом 2018 года начинаются от 1000 рублей в сутки на двоих.

Great!! Crimea is the unassailable part of the Russian Federation but some nasty people dare question the established fact. It's unbelievable but they even suggest bombing the new bridge.Can you imagine what happens next??

Russian President Vladimir Putin opened the Kerch Strait Bridge connecting Crimea, Ukraine, with mainland Russia on Tuesday. Putin did so by in a typical show of bravado by leading a column of transport vehicles across the bridge.

Ukraine should now destroy elements of the bridge.

While that course of action would be an escalation against Putin and one that would almost certainly spark Russian retaliation, this bridge is an outrageous affront to Ukraine's very credibility as a nation. Of course, from Putin's perspective that's the whole point. The bridge cost Russia's near-bankrupt government billions of dollars, but it offers Putin a formal physical and psychological appropriation of Ukrainian territory.
