Aaaargh, it is the COMMUNIST party!! Notice the double M!

The comunist party has extremely little support, mostly from the GTY - Russian Society of Dyslexia

He also spelled " party' without the "r". but since the poor guy is from Italy and probably struggles with our English language I think we should applaud his effort.

THe Russian Communist party is sort of...there.

People are much in support of Communism, but they for some reason say so in the polls but never vote that way.

Presumedly, you mean communist party? It's alive and well. You can pay them a virtual visit at http://www.kprf.ru.

    Why you think so?
For example, in Duma 51 place belongs to KPRF (from total of 450, if you didn't know it).

Why should he smile? In Russia we think that you shouldn't smile if you are an important person.

possopo, you have seen images of those people smile. in real life in Russia we prefer non-smiling people to those who smile.

Well, according to the little old lady I lived with in St. Petersburg, it's going to overthrow the current government any day now.

True. I personally know several Russians who have actually had their "smiling muscles" removed surgically.

Sorry, Lindzi, they couldn't've been Russian - we, Russians, are born without "smiling muscles", we don't have to have them removed. Have you noticed how few wrinkles Russian people have - that's because we don't contort our faces.

VM, I think we're back to the translation problem of "russkiy" vs. "rossiyanin". I was talking about citizens of the Russian Federation. You, clearly, are speaking of ethnic Russians, who, it is true, do not have to go to the expense of the surgical procedure, as they are born naturally "smileless".

No way, man, VM's an ethnic Udmurt anyway. It must apply to all people who live in Russia.
