Я сейчас очень устал (здесь 23:16, но 0:16 в голове), и так я спрошу это по-английски, но вы можете отвечать по-русски. ^_^

I was wondering about the prefix "на" when applied to verbs. Does it just apply some emphasis that a lot of the action is being performed? E.g. наслышать=to listen a lot, наговорить=to talk a lot? Or is there some other significance or meaning. Obviously there are just some verbs that begin with "на", but I am asking specifically about those verbs which usually do not, yet are sometimes seen with this prefix in front of them.

I would also appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of a website/webpage that lists the common Russian prefixes and explains their usages, if such a thing exists (and if it doesn't, perhaps someone could create one ).
