Precisely.

In colloquial speech, the word ничего means alright.
(Probably, ничего = nothing [wrong] = all right.)

— Как дела? — Ничего.	— How's things? — All right.
Он ничего мужик.	He is an alright guy.
Он мужик ничего.	He is an alright guy.
Светленькая — так себе, а тёмненькая — ничего!	The blonde girl is so-so, and the dark-haired one is alright!
