I don't understand
не пойму = I [am trying and still] can't understand
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

    Re: Не пойму я

Ведь она не говорит НЕ о будущем времени.
    Move it (sounds better)

Verbs in future perfective form have endings similar to present tenses (иду-пойду).

As the Russian language is very concerned with endings, those verbs can be used to express a habitual action (only an incomplete one).
They sound much better in informal than wordy versions like
"Я никак не могу отдохнуть". (Никак не отдохну.)
"Когда я собираюсь пойти к нему, всегда что-то мешает" (Как соберусь пойти к нему, вечно что-то мешает)
"Не могу сходить на рыбалку" - "Всё никак не порыбачу".

Sometimes such things are used for present actions:
В толк не возьму - Не пойму (Не понимаю)
Никак ребёнка не уйму - Не могу успокоить (сейчас)

Words всё, никак are used in such constructions mostly.
The aforesaid examples and the explanation work well, too.
Another month ends. All targets met. All systems working. All customers satisfied. All staff eagerly enthusiastic. All pigs fed and ready to fly.

Spoken language is a very extensive conception. Isn't spoken language used in written literature, for example?

Of course it can be used in "written" literature - yet mostly as "spoken" by a character

Well, I actually disagree that this contsruction strongly belongs to spoken language. You can find it in quite a serious article, for example, something like "мы никак не научимся жить по закону / по-человечески / как на Западе" etc. We can find a lot of other examples like that, with another verb and subject.

Some articles deliberately use "popular" expressions just to create more agreement by appealing to "common sense".
You never find this sort of language in a report.
