Thread: Использование "как раз"

Всем привет,

Я здесь в России уже 7 месяцев по-обмену, и я заметил, что люди вообше очень часто говорят "...как раз". Но дело в том, что хоть я уже просмотрел в словаре перевод этой фразы. Когда я слышу её в течение разговора - перевод не очень подходит. Объясните мне значение и использование "как раз", пожалуйста!

Hello everyone!

I've been in Russia for 7 months already, and I've noticed that people uber often say ," как раз". But the problem's that I've already look in the dictionary for the translation. Yet, when I hear it in a conversation, the translation doesn't fit. So could anyone explain to me the meaning and usage of "как раз"?

I think one can't explain anything about "как раз" without context. Give us some context please.

Thanks. I thought the sentence was incomplete. What I did was I had my host dad check through the passage to see if it made sense, and he played with the хотя sentence.

The reason I was asking about как раз is because it doesn't seem to fit any context at all. Russians seem to just throw it around in a sentence.

Это-то как раз не правда. - in the mening that the truth is dirrectly opposite. It's quite untrue, totally untrue.
Русские - как раз те, кто не тратит слов даром. - Russian are the very people who do not waste the words in vain.
Я как раз думал об этом. - It was right in my thoughts, I thought about it.
Я думал как раз об этом. - This was what I was thinking about, I thought about it
Я как раз об этом думал. - the same meaning
А ты как раз задал этот вопрос. You have asked this question right in time. You have asked (right the same I was thinking about)

So this two words make the accent on some of the circumstances.

Я бы сказал, что "как раз" - это нечто вроде "by the way".

"by the way" - "между прочим", а не "как раз".
