I'm a complete noob and stuck on RS russian software where it asks me to guess which one to use 'net' or 'ne' like "devoychka net/ne chitaiot" (sorry for the horrible spelling and lack of russian letters). What is the difference?
Cheers.

Most often "не" = not, "нет" = no.
Good luck in cracking Russian software!
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?
And do not confuse both with "ni"!
"chitaiot" (="читает") is a verb (= "reads"), and using what it-ogo said (that "не" = "not") we get:Originally Posted by slylie
devoychka [does] _____ chitaiot
So, guess what's the correct answer?
Thanks for the quick helps.
