    Correct.

    У неё нет русской видеокассет
Incorrect. It must be either as in first sentence (plural) or "У неё нет русской видеокассеты". (singlular)

May I ask why it takes genetive? I thought that it would be nominative there.

Hm... As I learned at school, genitive case answers questions "кого?" or "чего?". You can ask "Нет чего?" and answer "Видеокассет". Nominative answers questions "кто?" or "что?". You can't ask "Нет что?". That's why the case is genitive. At least I was learned to recognize cases with the help of such questions at school. I don't know how do foreigners learn cases

Genetive of absence. When there isn't something, or something is missing, you need genetive.

    у меня нет ДЕНЕГ.

    ЕГО нет дома.

    у меня РУССКИХ ДРУЗЕЙ нету.

We're just taught that after нет or a negation, use the genetive.
