    Mistake?

In my Schaum's Russian Vocabularly book it has the sentence:
И вот две багажные квитанции для получения багажа.
And here are two baggage reclaim tickets.

What I am unsure about is the adjective багажные. Since it is following the number 2 shouldn't it be in the genitive plural and not the nominative plural?

No. Words after две, which is used with female nouns, are nominative. And masculine/neuter words following the number 2 are in genitive singular, not genitive plural. You should know this by now, TATY. Tut-tut.

I didn't know that about adjectives used withfeminine nouns. But Pravit, with masculine and neuter it IS the gen. plu. of adjectives after Два, Три and Четыре. You should know that by now Pravit. Tut-tut.

Why did you change from making a statement about adjectives, to a statement about nouns.

What you said was quite ambiguous.

No. Words after две, which is used with female nouns, are nominative.
I presume you mean adjectives used with female nouns. This is the bit i didn't know

So why are you now talking about nouns? Yes I knew this, and in my post I didn't say that masculine or neuter nouns are in the gen. plu. after 2.
I said that I thought багажные should be since it is an adjective after the number 2.
And what about female nouns following the number 2? They also are in the genitive singular.

My entire statement was about nouns. I must have misunderstood your question.

And what about female nouns following the number 2? They also are in the genitive singular.
I say they're nominative plural. You say tomato, I say tomahto.

    Выдали даме на станции
    Четыре зеленых квитанции
    О том, что получен багаж:
    Диван,
    Чемодан,
    Саквояж,
    Картина,
    Корзина,
    Картонка
    И маленькая собачонка.

I'm not sure which one is officially correct (may be both), but people use both forms:
