    Future case in Pimsleur

I'm working with Pimsleur Russian I, third edition. In lesson 10 they've introduced an example of future case, but they're using a word that isn't in any of my books and I can't find it in my Russian dictionary.

Here's a sentence that should mean "I'm going to have lunch later". The second word is my guess at the spelling.
    я сибираюс пообедать позже.

Sounds like "sih-bih-RA-yoos". And the вы form is "sih-bih-RA-yeh-tes".

Is this correct? Shouldn't it be буду? What is the сorrect spelling?

    Re: Future case in Pimsleur

    Я собираюсь пообедать позже.
    This word sounds like " sah-bih-RA-yoos' "

Ok, you can say "Я буду обедать позже", but the first variant is better in your case.
My English isn't so good, зато с русским все в порядке ))
I'll be very thankful, if you correct my mistakes.

Yes you are correct this is the word Pimsleur uses and you dont need to add the future to it as that would be redundant.

It shouldn't, because it is not a real future case. It basically means "I intend to eat later". Where is the future here? I intend or plan now, but it might not happen in the future. You can also say "Я намереваюсь пообедать позже. Я планирую пообедать позже. Я мечтаю пообедать позже. Я клянусь на могиле своей матери пообедать позже". Still, grammatically I do not see any future case.

Future case should be : Я пообедаю позже
